We refine and enhance your beauty with intention and care for a skin-focused approach to makeup. Knowing how to layer sheer products to sculpt and shape, never mask, plays a large role in our sought-after makeup aesthetic. 

Whether it’s clean and sleek or soft and airy, our approach to hair is the same: to elevate and refine, without feeling overdone. We love curating styles that are simple and stunning. Looks that feel unfussy and naturally effortless.

O P T I O N 1 :

Our nine-hour, all-inclusive, beauty experience. After your morning of hair and makeup prep, your lead artists pack custom touchup kits and stay with you throughout the day. Rain, wind, humidity, the unexpected anything - we are ready to jump in with helping hands to keep you and your partner looking (and feeling!) your absolute best. Your only job is to be present and soak in the moments. We are also happy to offer a hair and/or makeup edit if you’d like to switch up your look for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or party!

O P T I O N 3 :

Whether your wedding events are all local to NYC or a road trip out of the city, we love designing different hair and makeup looks to elevate and complement your style.

While you’ve thoughtfully planned out and perhaps overly fixated on the seating chart or, dare I mention, a rain plan, for each event, we’ve done the same for your beauty. Behind the scenes, our team is always bouncing ideas and collecting inspo that feels in line with each event. (see below for a quote from our team)

Whatever you’re dreaming up, we work together to bring your vision to life.

MULTI-DAY EVENTS

If your venue is more than 4.5 hours round-trip from our studio in Brooklyn, we require a multi-day booking and overnight accommodations for your artists the night before.

DESTINATION

If you are planning a destination wedding and cannot find a local beauty team that aligns with your style and energy, we offer all-inclusive packages specific to destination bookings. Just like our multi-day event experience, our team will design H+MU looks that seamlessly complement and enhance each of your celebrations.

While we love traveling to stunning locations, both around the US and globally, we accept only a handful of destination bookings each year.

STEFANIE: “I love her Welcome Party outfit. That neckline is going to be amazing on her. I really think her hair should be up. Maybe with a little structure or sort of sleek?”

AVA: “Well, she prefers her hair down, so what about something half back, a little sleek? I don’t see structure for her.”

ALLIE: “Ava, what about a version of that twisty half-back thingy you did for Sarah on her wedding upstate? I loved that!”

STEFANIE: “Yes! And she has that naturally effortless vibe. I think she will LOVE that idea. That way, her cheekbones will totally pop with her hair back, but she will still feel comfortable because most of it is down. Should the back feel bouncy, though?”

AVA: “Her hair is perfect for that. Let’s see about bouncy or maybe just a flip at the ends. We can decide in person. And we are already planning a fresh blow-out in the morning for her downstyle, so I can use a touch more product to tame all her little baby hairs so it feels a little more finished but not sleek. Still effortless and a little undone.”

STEFANIE: “Great. I’ll include these notes and ideas on her Final Info Form when I email her to see if she has any edits from this morning’s preview. Fun! I’m so excited to see it all come together.”

ALLIE: “Ok, wait, so for her makeup the night before, I was thinking...”
